What do we do?

The MRICRH assists trafficking victims and children in difficult circumstances by offering these support services:

  • Case- rescue
  • Childline, a 24 hour hotline for children in distress
  • Safe Shelter
  • Counseling
  • Medical Assistance
  • Vocational Skills Training
  • Social reintegration
  • Repatriation
  • Case follow- up
  • Network locally and internationally
  • Encourage and empower communities to care for childrenís needs
  • Stand against the networks that are involved in trafficking children and women
  • Build an effective support network throughout the Mekong region
  • Advocate for the human rights of children and women.

To ensure children receive proper care, the MRICRH retains a carrying capacity of twenty children at any given time. While around ninety children can receive shelter at the MRICRH over the course of a year based on a length of stay of 3 months, around one hundred and fifty children can receive assistance through the MRICRH over the course of one year in the form of counseling, assistance, rehabilitation, referrals.

Families in local communities support the work we do.
